Coming Home Retreat

21–27 September 2025 | Loural Eco Village, Portugal

This is an invitation.

A week of yoga, breath, and reconnection in the forested hills of central Portugal.

This is not a retreat to get away but a space to return.

To land. To exhale.

To remember who you are underneath the speed, the scroll, the roles.

We’ll be gathering in a small circle, cradled by trees and simplicity, to move and breathe together.

Each morning, we step into silence and practice — led by Karan and Flora, who will share their passion, love and 15 years of combined experience in yoga.

And when the stillness calls — or the emotions rise — they are here to hold space with breathwork journeys, sound, and heartfelt moments of integration and connection. This retreat is spacious, real, and full of depth. It’s a week to come back to your breath, your body, and this Earth. Not to become someone new, but to come home to the one you already are.

What you can expect:

  • Yoga practice with expert, personal guidance

  • Breathwork journeys to release and reconnect

  • Gentle rituals like tree planting, kirtan, and sound healing

  • Embodied yogic philosophy through how we move, relate, and rest

  • A return to your natural rhythm and sense of belonging

Evenings are shared in Sangha — by the fire or in the shala — with cacao, music, movement, and

moments that nourish the heart.

Loural Eco Village

Loural Eco Village is nestled deep in the forest, where mountain springs still flow and stars still speak. It's off-grid, regenerative, and spacious in all the right ways.
The land holds a certain stillness that makes you listen more closely.

There are forest paths to walk barefoot, there is firewood for late-night songs.
There is silence that doesn’t ask for anything...

This beautiful permaculture space is solar-powered, and the food is locally sourced, often from the land itself.

Your Facilitators

KARAN SINGH

Karan walks a gentle, sincere path through asana, dhyana, breath, touch, sound, and movement. His work is an evolving tapestry–drawing from yoga, breathwork, Chi Nei Tsang, sound healing, and meditation—but more than anything, it is an offering of presence.

Born in India, Karan carries the resonance of deep-rooted traditions while holding space in a way that feels grounded, contemporary, and accessible. During the retreat, he will offer yoga practices, breath journeys, sound experiences, and moments of musical connection through kirtan and cacao.

FLORA HOEFKENS

Flora will be gently weaving the threads of this retreat. She brings years of experience as a retreat facilitator, having led dozens of retreats and teacher trainings across Europe — always with deep intention and love. She’ll guide sessions in yoga nidra, kirtan, sharing circles, and rituals, while tending to the unseen layers of the group field, helping each person feel welcome, safe, and free to arrive just as they are. With Flora at the heart of the retreat, we’re in very good hands.

For Whom?

Coming Home is for those who feel the quiet call inward.
It’s for the ones who’ve been moving fast and long for too many months and are ready to pause.

It’s for those who sense that being in nature, in honest community, and in practice mightjust bring them back to something essential.

This retreat is especially for:

  • People who need a break from the noise, to remember. To listen. To land.

  • People who are curious, want to explore, and experience breathwork in a safe, supported and embodied environment.

  • Yoga teachers and practitioners, both beginners and experienced students, who want to reconnect with the roots of the practice, and take time to develop their own practice.

  • Seekers, those on a spiritual path, drawn to the deeper teachings of yoga, breath, silence, or devotion.

  • Anyone longing for community, ceremony, and connection with nature.

You don’t need to be perfect. You don’t need to be flexible.
You just need to be willing to show up — to your body, your breath, and whatever this moment brings.

This retreat is a foundation for deepening your practice, not just on the mat, but in life.
A space to return to what’s always been within: your breath, your center, your home.
