"Coming back home"

- To my body, to the land where I was born, and to the beautiful roots that shape who I am. India, with all its diversity, energy, and wisdom, has always been a part of me, and this appreciation has only grown in these last years. As I complete another revolution around the sun, I find myself celebrating and honouring this journey of self-discovery even more. 🌱✨

It’s a humbling process of connecting deeper with myself and with the world around me by exploring different modalities that remind me to return to that wholesome place that has always been there.

While I celebrate this growth, I’m also deeply aware and grateful of my privileges and the opportunities that I have, that I can choose when and what to do, travel to places to practice what I love. Meet amazing people who teach me everything. I trust that if I do my part of the work, everything else will fall in place, if I can lessen one suffering and replace it with joy and compassion, it's a drop that will eventually fill the ocean. Life passes quickly. Love and Gratitude are the only things that matter.

Life is like a stock market.

1. It has its highs and lows, sometimes when we are stuck in the low, we cannot see that it's already higher than the previous low.

2. We need to invest in ourselves and others.

3. Have a long-term vision. Just like we cannot time the market, we cannot time life. But like dollar-cost averaging, we can put some effort everyday and grow.

4. Some stocks will tank and some will moon. So diversifying our life with varied interests, people, cultures and sources of income is key.

5. After many cycles of bear and bull markets, we learn how it works, sometimes!

Questions! Last months have been full of questions, about life. Sometimes making me anxious, sad, confused, and unsure about everything. Finding answers then becomes a quest, which in turn leads us away from now and to more questions.

Rainer Maria Rilke says, "Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, live them now, and perhaps gradually without noticing, we will live along some distant day into the answer."

I still need to remind me often to just be with the questions, love and live them. But slowly and gradually, it starts getting clearer, the answers are coming to the surface. India and its cows have played a big part in it - to just be, here and now with all these questions.

Reading Champak on an Indian train takes me back down the memory lane. Since then, the dimensions have changed, and it comes in English now. And I am happy to see that they still have Cheeku rabbit (one of my favorites!) :)
